This is my sister's temporary car until her car is done getting fixed at the dealer...it really sucks that I still don't have a car of my own. It's not that I want one just to have one, but I really need one to get to work and so then my mom won't have to wake up really early everyday to take my dad to work. Hopefully I'll have one by graduation, if not then I'll have to wait until the end of the summer :/

Thought this was worth posting because it deals with the stuff we just learned about in anatomy dealing with vision and rods and cones...stare at the red dot long enough then look at a blank white space (maybe we'd be able to do this in class or something)

I didn't have time to post yesterday, I was called in to work and didn't get home until a little before 11 and I had a bunch of things to do but never got to them :/ so to make up for it I took this picture before I left work at the Tinley Park Village Hall (my other job). Too bad the office rennovations are done, we won't have a window view anymore, just the view of the stuff in our cubicle.

Watched this in psych today since we had a sub...it's still funny watching it the second time.

I still don't know why I never decided to take econ over the summer....I should've said something to my parents but I decided not to since they were paying for my sister's summer classes for college. Now all I can say is that I have to suck it up and deal with it for the rest of the semester.

I had a sore throat when I went to sleep last night and it got a lot worse when I woke up this morning. Then throughout the day I started getting a runny nose :/ As soon as I got home from school I went to sleep and when I woke up I made myself this soup. It actually tasted really good, a little salty, but still good. Too bad I didn't have any celery to throw in there so I only used onions, carrots, and potatoes.

I guess I couldn't resist...I couldn't help but eat another bowl of waffle crisps/alpha bits tonight, but that's only because I didn't eat anything at work except for 2 apples and I gave my manager my granola bar. 

Nothing like a bowl of waffle crisps/alpha bits after waking up from a 3 hour nap. I need to stop eating, especially at night....not good 

Completely forgot to post last night! I was busy reading this before I went to sleep...I thought I wasn't gonna like this book but it wasn't bad.

I went to the Oak Forest prom fashion show and I thought it was pretty nice. I got lucky and won this candy bouqet from one of their raffles.....I wonder if the boutique is going to use the same dresses for our fashion. I only fell in love with 1 of them. But anywho, our fashion show better be a lot better than theirs.

I think I'm the definition of procrastination...instead of doing my homework I decided to curl my hair for tomorrow, no reason whatsoever. Oh well, too late now. No matter how many times I try not to keep things for last minute, everytime it still manages to happen. I need to work on that before I go to college, or else I know I'm gonna have a hard time

I've been trying to think of something to write for a scholarship that Loyola is offering but as you can see by the paper, my mind is blank. The only thing I have written down is the quote they gave in the prompt, which says, "All the art of living lies in a fine mingling of letting go and holding on." I simply have to write about something that I've learned to let go of and something that I've learned to hold on to in my life.  It seems like an easy prompt but when it comes to writing, I suck, I mean struggle...especially when trying to start the paper and making sure it follows what the question is asking for

Got these in the mail today. Thank God for online shopping!! I never have time to go to the mall so it makes my life so much easier. Hopefully this week I'll actually be able to go to the mall and possibly find a couple things for myself.

I haven't worked since Friday and instead of starting my homework then, I decided to put it off until today...oh well, I'm happy to say I actually got to relax for once and not have to worry about balancing work and homework and having to stay up so late. Good thing it snowed hard on Friday, or else I would've definitely been stressed out and wouldn't have had the chance to relax from work.

Went to Panera today with my best friends. I've never had a bread bowl before so I decided to try it out. I kinda regret getting it...there was way more bread than there was soup! At least I gave it a try though. I was craving a creamy soup all week for some reason, so I got the broccoli cheddar. Too bad they weren't making creamy chicken and rice soup today! :(

We were dissecting eyes in anatomy today. I turned the eye inside out to see the color of the back of it and it actually looked pretty cool, it was a nice color. Oh and Kevin just stood and watched as I did the dissecting. Unfortunately the eye was really tough and I ended up puncturing it, causing the juices to squirt out...eww. (btw unlike some people I asked Kevin for permission before posting his picture)

This is where I went to get my hair cut. It was my first time going there and it was kind of cool to see that there were about 20 different salons in it. I was a little scared to try a new stylist but I had to give it a shot and I'm glad I did. My search for a stylist that actually listens to what I want my hair to look like is finally over!

My sister tells me I'm adopted whenever I do something stupid at home LOL

 

Almost forgot to post!!! I've been working on a soundtrack for Tala for the prom fashion show, and now my computer won't let me burn it to a CD...such a failure :/

Out of all of the names that I've been given, this is the one that I hate the most!!

Was busy working all weekend so I didn't have time to read...had to resort to taking the book to work to read during my break. Unfortunately I kept getting distracted so I was only able to read a page or two. Hopefully I'll get both chapters done before wanting to go to sleep anytime soon

This is the time I got home from work, which is kind of interesting because I left for work at the same time this morning :/ I could've been home a lot earlier but I had to wait about an hour until my ride came
